Principles and Constitution

 

The principles of WissHom’s work are set out in its founding document and in the constitution.

 

Founding document

In its founding document the Scientific Society for Homeopathy (WissHom) has set out the principles, objectives and intentions of its work.

 

"The Scientific Society for Homeopathy wishes to make a contribution to the progress of medicine that will be of use to the general public, by means of further practical and theoretical development of Homeopathy and by freeing up its therapeutic potential." Constitution of the Scientific Society for Homeopathy (WissHom)

The constitution of WissHom was decided at the Founding Assembly on November 11, 2010 in Köthen (Anhalt):

 

  • WissHom is run under the title "Wissenschaftliche Gesellschaft für Homöopathie", as a charitable organisation. Its English title is "Scientific Society for Homeopathy".
  • The Society has its headquarter in Köthen (Anhalt).
  • The purpose of the Society is research into Homeopathy within the field of Medicine and connected scientific disciplines.
  • The Society’s primary concern is consolidation, structuring and evaluation of what is currentlty known, as well as the creation and utilisation of new knowledge.
  • The scientific research regarding Homeopathy should also take account of the whole scientific spectrum - methods and contents which are quantitative and qualitative, scientific and humanistic.
