Welcome to the website of the European Library of Homeopathy!
With the beginning of the year 2021, the European Library of Homeopathy (EBH) in Köthen (Anhalt) has moved from the German Central Association of Homeopathic Physicians (DZVhÄ) to the Scientific Society of Homeopathy (WissHom).
The European Library of Homeopathy (EBH) was opened in October 2009 in Köthen (Anhalt) – at Wallstraße 48, in the immediate vicinity of Hahnemann House.
As part of the International Building Exhibition Urban Redevelopment Saxony-Anhalt 2010 (IBA 2010), the redevelopment and expansion of the former hospital of the Monastery of the Brothers of Mercy was promoted as a sustainable project for the city of Köthen.
In addition to the library rooms (reading room and archive), the building also houses the office of the Scientific Society for Homeopathy (WissHom). A lecture hall on the first floor, the Samuel Hahnemann Hall, and the two seminar rooms on the top floor – named after the two wives Henriette and Melanie Hahnemann – offer ideal and stylish conference facilities.
Since its opening, the building has hosted numerous lectures and seminars, as well as exhibitions.
