Objectives of WissHom

The objectives of the Scientific Society for Homeopathy (WissHom) are research and education in the areas of homeopathic medicine and veterinary homeopathy, of homeopathic pharmacology and homeopathic pharmacy.

This includes activities such as:

  • Homeopathic education and training
  • Research
  • Documentation
  • Publication
  • Organisation and realisation of scientific events: its Annual Congress as well as other events.

The scientific homeopathy research takes account of the whole scientific spectrum – methods and contents which are quantitative and qualitative, scientific and humanistic, and includes philosophy, scientific theory and history of medicine.

The society’s work takes place within the framework of its three departments: Research, Quality improvement and Education and Training. Within these departments of WissHom work groups are formed, which can also pursue intersecting or competing themes and initiatives. The results of these groups’ work are published and made available to the homeopathic community.

Further information regarding the work of WissHom and the possibilities of membership will be found in the WissHom flyer (in German).
